We spoke to Aussie Sendlers to find out how they’re feeling about the year ahead. COVID still lingers but that Australian optimism remains as unshakeable as ever. Let’s dig into the results.
 

Record eCommerce summer

Australians went on their biggest online shopping spree in retail history. And, the skyrocketing eCommerce activity triggered record parcel volumes as consumers prioritise safety and convenience.

Since launching Debriefs in 2017, Will Campbell has worked tirelessly to grow his MicroModal men’s underwear business online. So, when COVID upended traditional retail he was already operating in the eCommerce space and has continued to break records.

We experienced a big increase in sales during Christmas 2020. A lot more people did their shopping online and we were well set up for that.

Small biz optimism

Australia is in its first recession in nearly three decades. But despite this dip, the economy is recovering faster than anticipated. We’re pleased to report that consumer and business sentiment are at long-time highs.

say 100% carbon neutral shipping is very important for their business.

Sustainability is the very reason we started NueBar. There is always room for improvement and working towards a fully carbon neutral business is our goal for 2021.
