Current delivery disruptions

The latest info on impacts to Sendle shipping

North QLD weather delays

Large areas in North Queensland are experiencing heavy rain and flooding, so you may experience pickup and delivery delays during this time.

The suburbs affected are:

  • Cairns
  • Ingham
  • Townsville
  • Proserpine
  • Mackay
  • Barcaldine
  • Mt Isa
  • Emerald

We're working with our delivery partners to get your parcels delivered as quickly and safely as possible. Stay safe out there!

Perth delays

Due to flooding in NSW, the rail network across central NSW has closed. This means you may experience pickup and delivery delays from Sydney and Brisbane into Perth.

As always, we’re working with our delivery partners to make sure your parcels arrive as quickly as possible, however the rail line is expected to reopen January 2023 at the earliest.

What to do if your parcel is late

First, go to the parcel tracking page and check the latest update under 'Tracking history' – you’ll probably find that it’s on its way and will be with you soon.

If your parcel is more than 5 days late, you can get in touch with us for help.

Thank you for your patience!

COVID and business as usual

We've been living this new reality for a while now. While coronavirus, specifically, is no longer having a major impact on Sendle deliveries, flow on effects are still being felt globally (difficulty accessing resources, labour shortages etc).

At Sendle, we're getting back to business as usual. One thing we're hanging on to from pandemic life, though, is contactless deliveries. Learn more about Sendle's COVID-safe practices.
