How Sendle works

Free Sendle Pickup

Simply select the pickup option when creating your label. Then all you need to do is:

  • Package your parcel sufficiently
  • Print the label in its original form and stick it on the parcel
  • Have the parcel ready for pickup on the selected pickup date
  • Pickup takes place on business days, anytime between 8 AM to 6 PM

You can drop off your parcels anywhere in our national dropoff network here. Locations such as BP petrol stations, newsagencies and pharmacies, where many are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Parcel Sizes

Sendle has six parcel sizes with the maximum being:

  • 25kg
  • 100 L / 0.1m3
  • 1.2 m

For parcels over 0.5kg, you can get free Signature on Delivery.

Using Sendle on eBay Label Platform
Do I need a Sendle account to book via the Label Platform?

No, you can simply start booking Sendle labels via the Label Platforms instantly.

How do I book a pickup?

When you create the label, you will have the option to request a pickup up to three days in the future.

Can I drop off a parcel booked with a pickup label?

No, you need to cancel the original label before midnight the day before pickup and rebook with the drop-off option.

Can I write the label if I don’t have a printer?

No, the label must be printed in its original size and be properly attached to the parcel.

Is there any size restrictions?

Yes, it is 25kg / 100L / 1.2 meter for pickup. For drop-off, the maximum size is 10kg/40L. You can read more here.

Do you offer any damage insurance?

At this stage, you will need to look into third party insurance as Sendle doesn’t offer this.

How do I cancel a label that hasn’t been picked up or dropped off yet?

Simply click the parcel in your eBay store, and use the tool on the Sendle tracking to cancel a parcel.

How do I reschedule a pickup?

Simply click the parcel in your eBay store, and use the tool on the Sendle tracking page to reschedule pickup.

How do I contact Sendle customer support?

Simply click the parcel in your eBay store, and use the tool on the Sendle tracking page you are reverted to.

Can I book an international label with Sendle?

Although Sendle does ship worldwide, this feature isn’t available on the label platform just yet.

What if there was no pick-up or delivery scan?

If the pick-up or delivery scan is missing, Sendle will conduct a thorough investigation to confirm the pick-up and delivery date. Sendle may contact the receiver of the parcel to verify the delivery date.

How can I track a parcel I’m sending or receiving?

When booking via eBay’s Label Platform, tracking details are automatically updated in your eBay order.

Can I drop off my parcel at a courier depot?

Sendle’s drop-off locations are powered by HUBBED – a network of news agencies, retails stores, petrol stations and the like who will accept Sendle parcels for pick up.

I do not have a printer to print my label, can I print it at drop off?

No, drop off locations don’t have the ability to print off labels and will not accept parcels without a label displaying the barcode for scanning. Read more on labels here.

What happens if my parcel is returned to sender after I have dropped it off?

The parcel will be returned to the sender address on the label.

Will I receive a confirmation when I drop off my parcel?

Your Sendle tracking page, and eBay store, will update shortly after your parcel is scanned at the drop off location.

My parcel pickup was missed - what do I do?

Sendle automatically re-books any missed pickups. Sendle has a pickup guarantee as well.

When will my parcel get picked up?

The pickup date will be stated on the label. A pickup can take place anytime between 8 AM and 6 PM on business days. You can read more here.

Can the pickup driver call in advance?

This is not possible. Please have the parcel available or left in an easily accessible location for the driver to pick up.

How do I print my label?

The label must be printed in its original form. You can simply use a normal printer and sticky tape. Please note that handwritten labels will not be accepted and you cannot print the label at drop-off locations.

Can I send dangerous goods or food?

Sendle does not accept dangerous goods or perishable goods. Please check our guide on what we cannot send here.

How do I get access to eBay Business Rates?

You will need to contact eBay directly, as they manage your eBay account.
